Growing IQ Redwood City presents

STEAM Explorers, a STEAM focused camp for 4 to 6 year olds that focuses on developing your child's critical thinking skills while participating in a fun-filled, engaging environment.

 

Give your students a head-start to the new school year in developing skills that will give them an edge in the classroom.

All-Day Camp Basics:

We will offer after-camp care up until 5 pm.

    In the mornings, campers will sharpen their foundational math skills through topics such as:

  • Campers will break for lunch daily. Lunches will be brought from home. We do not allow any nut products in our buildings to ensure the safety of our students with allergies. If your child has other allergies, please let us know.

    Each week features a different STEAM-based theme where campers engage in activities designed to foster curiosity - focusing on the three C's: collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. Campers will be exposed to concepts like:

Are our little ones read to start discovering math? Let them explore math concepts through fun interactive games, storytelling, movement and songs! Develop their physical, social, emotional and cognitive skills.

5 to 6 Year Olds

Are numbers your greatest enemy? Does math have you hiding in the shadows? Let us help you defeat the math monsters using hands-on tools and teamwork to master your way through addition, subtraction, place-value, patterns, and more! Number Ninjas builds a foundation for incoming Kindergarteners and first graders to explore numbers and operations, while training to become a ninja!

Geometry Treehouse

9 to 10 Year Olds

Explore all the wonderful and challenging Math involved in designing a treehouse. A myriad of factors will have to be considered to be successful (area of two- and three-dimensional shapes, surface area, ratio, scale, fractions, and more)!
